Key Features
Cammed-lug release helps prevent penetration.
Pre-tested for quality and reliability.
Controlled drilling without premature release.
Non-skid tip for stable positioning.
Precision cutting with less pressure.
Available in multiple size options.
Automatic release at bone thicknesses below 1 mm.
Bone pad helps protect the dura.
ACRA-CUT perforators create a
bone pad for added dura protection.

- 6Non-Skid Tip
- 7Fluted cutting surfaces are designed to facilitate the removal of bone chips from the bur hole during perforation.
Cut-away view of the
ACRA-CUT automatic release mechanism.

The inner drill cammed-lug is shown in the drive position during perforation.

The cammed action responds to a sudden drop in bone resistance, allowing the inner drill to shift forward by less than 1 mm, disengaging the clutch and immediately stopping further cutting.
Product Information
DGR-I

DGR-I
For use in skull areas at least 3mm thick.
Cutting edges create a small bone pad to help protect the dura.
The 11 mm/7 mm DGR-I Mini is designed for older pediatric and adult patients when a smaller burr hole is desired.

DGR-II

DGR-II
For use in skull areas as thin as 1 mm.
Cutting edges create a small bone pad to help protect the dura.
The 200-253 DGR-II Mini has been trusted by surgeons for pediatric cranial procedures for decades.

DGR-O

DGR-O
Designed for use in skull regions with a bone thickness of at least 3 mm where uneven bone anatomy may occur.
Rounded cutting edges are designed to enhance performance in areas of uneven bone.
Cutting edges create a small bone pad to help protect the dura.
A popular 14 mm/11 mm disposable perforator for a wide range of cranial procedures.

DGR-OS

DGR-OS
Designed for use in skull regions with a bone thickness of at least 2 mm.
Cutting edges create a small bone pad to help protect the dura.
The 200-283 DGR-OS Mini is designed for shunt placement, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, biopsy, and stereotactic procedures.

CDM

CDM
Traditional 14 mm/11 mm disposable perforator configuration.
Incorporates the ACRA-CUT automatic release mechanism to help minimize the risk of unintended penetration.
Offers a practical alternative for surgeons who prefer a traditional perforator design.
Does not create a bone pad.

DG-II Mini

DG-II Mini
Designed for use in skull regions with a bone thickness as thin as 1 mm.
Pointed cutting edges create a protective bone pad and are designed for rapid penetration.
The 11 mm/7 mm DG-ll Mini is ideal for pediatric procedures and other applications requiring a smaller burr hole.

SDR (SMART DRILL)

SDR (SMART DRILL)
Designed for use in skull regions with bone thicknesses as thin as 1.5 mm.
The 14 mm outer drill and 9 mm inner drill are designed to create a larger shelf and thicker bone pad to help protect the dura in areas of uneven bone.
The 200-500 SMARTdrill is designed for cranial procedures where thin bone and uneven anatomy may be encountered.
